We&#8217;re working on the doubling rule, so she knows that an R combination follows the 1 + 1 + 1 rule. But this one doesn&#8217;t. I have never heard that one before. I looked it up because I always thought it used the prefix &#8220;in&#8221; to mean &#8220;not.&#8221; Untrue! Does this surprise anyone else, or am I the last to know?</p>
