It is so rewarding to truly help a child who is struggling to read. Being an Orton Gillingham educator is just the way to do it! The structured learning, science of reading, phonics-based approach of Orton Gillingham is the approach many diagnosticians refer to for dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other learning disorders, and is becoming a requirement in many states as they work to find better solutions for students with learning disabilities.
ORTON-GILLINGHAM TRAINING: Become an Orton Gillingham practitioner! We offer online coursework and teaching practicum year-round. We are now taking resumes for the Summer 2021 and Fall 2021 Cohort. Prerequisite: Computer literate.
MASTERY SERIES: We offer monthly online seminars, workshops, or book studies January through October. These events are designed especially for Orton Gillingham practitioners on English language structure and strategies – for those who really like to dig deep (and geek out a little bit.) Most appropriate for those with some OG background.
