Orton Gillingham Training

Training In Orton Gillingham

Our Orton Gillingham Training Programs focus on structured literacy approaches for teaching reading and language skills. The upcoming trainings include Level I and Level II courses, both available in Summer and Fall, offering synchronous online coursework and practicum through OGRS.  Everyone must begin with a Level I training.

The Level I course emphasizes effective instruction principles, dyslexia, phonemic awareness, and other foundational skills. In contrast, Level II delves into more advanced topics like syllabication and suffix rules. The courses include benefits like direct mentoring, a wide range of teaching materials, and the option for additional practicum hours.
